This small but very friendly and welcoming cafe is a jewel in the heart of Sandringham.
The menu has the usual takes on breakfast and lunch favourites as well as some daily specials. The chicken and lentil soup with lemon and coriander was so good that an additional take away serve was ordered.
The open grilled chicken sandwich was just the right side of spicy. The steak sandwich is excellent. The chips which accompanied it were crisp and not at all greasy. The food is all made fresh on site and the chef even comes to check the food is to your liking.
They even provide blankets for those who wish to sit outside. I highly recommend you pay a visit even if it's just to get a take away or for a jar of their homemade chutney which has kept me returning time and again it's that good.
