INDULGE YOUR SENSES.
Visiting the Mornington Peninsula and more specifically the beautiful Red Hill area, then this is something you may want to drop in on and take a look.
Established in 1992 the gallery is located in a peaceful bush gully in the heart of the Red Hill hinterland. Well known for it's unique hand-painted tiles, the gallery also shows an eclectic range of fine hand made craft works, including textiles, wood, jewellery, ceramics and glass, as well as a selection of Persian rugs and kelims.
Enjoy unique craft works, great espresso coffee and native birdlife, in a gallery surrounded by natural bushland. It is here that Marion Rosetzky creates a timeless patterning reminiscent of Persian rugs on her hand painted tiles. Her tiles are sold individually or may be ordered to meet your specific needs, in any colour way of your choice. The designs are based on three repeating patterns which are available in an unlimited range of colour combinations. By the use of repetitive patterning, created primarily with dots, there is a meditative quality in the doing and in the end result when the tiles are viewed en masse. Being reminiscent of Islamic architectural tiles and carpets, Rosetzky's tiles are timeless and may be used anywhere.
Individually the designs are intricate, en masse they have brilliant impact' - Vogue Living.
